Rockets Season Opener

The Olentangy Rockets 3rd Grade Girls Basketball Team had their first practice and first game less than 24 hours of each other. The Girls did an amazing job, especially considering they played a game as a team after just barely meeting each other!!! I learned a lot about the personalities of the girls just from watching them on the court. One thing they all have in common is their eagerness to learn and play the game.

It is obvious that the parent support is amazing, which will make this a fun and educational season for the entire team. The practice and game had so many learning opportunities for everyone. I am certain everyone left that gym with at least one thing they learned and at least one question they didn't think to ask previously.

Please make sure you bring those lessons learned and questions to practice on Thursday to share with everyone!!!
